We were meant to be in love. We were meant to stay. We were meant to be forever, but he walked away.

I sat where my friend wrote all about his haunted heart. In the next room lived a man I don’t like to think about. He turned to anger on a dime like an animal that never reached its prime. I’ll never forget the tone he used with the ones that gave their time.
Have I been bestowed a lonely curse? If they fall for me then I want better or worse. I think I’m better off and better on my own.

I’m here to understand it and turn it all around this time
I’ll try not to rush so fast like I always do and I get caught in the mast. Losing sight of who I am and where I should be going.
You’ve gotta live your own life. Work on yourself and the love will arrive. At least that’s what my mother tells me and she is usually right.
